Read with purpose.
Gather with intention.
Lead with clarity.
Read. Gather. Lead. is a virtual peer advisory membership where small business owners READ meaningful business books, GATHER in trusted conversation, and LEAD their businesses and communities with wisdom.
Think of Read. Gather. Lead as your own personal board of directors.
We will talk about the different tools that we read about in that month’s topic book and how we can best apply the tools in our businesses. Then we will advise one another one any issues or setbacks that we might be experiencing in our businesses. This process will guide us to be the leaders that we are striving to be.
You weren’t meant to lead alone.
Most business owners are doing their best but still feel stuck.
They’re:
Making big decisions in isolation
Reading excellent books without space to process or apply them
Carrying the weight of leadership without trusted perspective.
They don’t need more effort. They need shared wisdom.
You don’t need louder advice. You need wiser conversation.
You need:
A clear framework for your thinking
Thoughtful peers to collaborate with
A steady guide who understands business, money, and real-life leadership.
A simple rhythm for better decisions.
Three steps. One rhythm. No noise.

We read intentionally because leadership is built over time.
Read. Gather. Lead. follows a thoughtful learning arc so each conversation builds on the last.
We begin with clarity:
Hero on a Mission - We will start by following Donald Miller’s Hero on a Mission Life Plan. To ensure we are all aware of the goals we need to reach, we will create our Life Vision, 10-year goals, 5-year projects, and 1-year priorities leading to your Morning Ritual.
We move with consistency:
The Big Leap - To support thoughtful implementation of our Morning Ritual, we will read Gay Hendricks’ The Big Leap. Hendricks argues that many people self-sabotage when they experience success, love, or happiness beyond a level they're subconsciously comfortable with. This self-imposed ceiling that he named the Upper Limit Problem, keeps us operating below our true potential.
Then we build stability:
How to Grow Your Small Business - Now that we have set our routines and grown our positive habits, it’s time to build systems that support healthy growth. Donald Miller’s analogy that views our business as the structure of an airplane systemizes leadership, marketing, sales, products, management & operations, and cash flow.
From there, we will explore trusted authors like Mike Michalowicz, Ken Blanchard, Will Guidara, Michael Hyatt, James Clear, and other authors suggested by Read. Gather. Lead. members.
Read well.
Gather wisely.
Lead with confidence.
Read. Gather. Lead is a peer advisory membership for business owners who want wisdom and clarity without the hustle culture.
Pull up a chair.
We’d be honored to lead alongside you.
